- Across departments, there is a focus on projects examining AI’s potential to transform education and patient care in thoughtful and ethical ways.

- The Paul Farmer Collaborative of HMS and the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda promotes the development of sustainable, equitable health systems that improve care delivery to disadvantaged populations worldwide.
Diversity and Community
- HMS programs foster collaboration and diversify the physician pipeline, helping providers understand and reflect the populations they serve.
- Led by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Partnership and the Office of Recruitment and Multicultural Affairs, initiatives include lectures on leadership, disabilities, unconscious bias, anti-racism, and health equity; and workshops for college and high school students exploring careers in medicine and life sciences.

- The Quadrangle Fund for Advancing and Seeding Translational Research (Q-FASTR) has funded 80 projects, which have led to five new companies, 51 patents, and more than $180 million in follow-on funding.
Diana Rodriguez
Designated her gift to financial aid.
“As a first-generation student, I feel deeply indebted to have had the opportunity to train at HMS. I learned early on to always use my torchlight to light the torches of others. I volunteer my time and donate money to support HMS’s mission of providing a world-class education to a diverse student body. My hope is that their passions will be ignited to bring forth paradigmatic shifts in medicine.”
—Diana Rodriguez, AB ’89, MD ’94 (Class of 1993), MPH ’94
Lauren Henderson
Designated her gift for unrestricted use so it can be used where it is most needed.
“There isn’t a way to repay HMS for everything the School has given me. My education prepared me for the career that I always wanted, and I formed lifelong friendships that have been transformative.”
—Lauren Henderson, MD ’08, MMSc ’14
She made a multiyear pledge and set up a monthly recurring payment, which enables her to pay her gift in smaller increments over time while ensuring she doesn’t miss a payment.
Michael Rosenblatt
Designated his gift to financial aid.
“Patty and I are immensely grateful to HMS for shaping my career. We realize that without scholarships and loans, I would not have been able to succeed. That’s why we support the School annually, focusing on financial aid. Our bequest aims to help HMS take one more step toward providing debt-free education for those with financial need.”
