The Alumni Council promotes and supports activities that connect alumni to each other, the School, and current students.
The Council serves a consultative and advisory role to the dean of Harvard Medical School by listening and responding to current issues. It also appoints, in consultation with the dean, the chair of alumni relations and the chair of the Alumni Fund. The Council comprises members who are each elected to a three-year term.
The Council is currently making strides within three areas of focus: diversity, idealism, and community.
